Power Rangers Megaforce is coming to Nintendo 3DS this Autumn courtesy of Namco Bandai. it uses card-scanning tech to enable power-ups and other neat AR tricks.

Shacknews reports that the game is a side-scolling action tie in with the Nickelodeon show, and that players will be able to collect physical cards and scan them into the game, as well as using a photo of themselves to become an in-game character.

Here’s a photo of the cards. It’s unclear if the entire set is bundled or if you’ll have to buy boosters from stores.
