Splinter Cell Blacklist confirmed for Wii U release

Splinter Cell Blacklist publisher Ubisoft has confirmed that the game is indeed heading to Wii U in August.

Gamespot tweeted that the game would release on Nintendo's format from August 20.

Polygon added that the Wii U edition would drop August 22 across Europe and August 23 in the UK, and will come with a raft of Wii U GamePad features.

It follows the Wii U edition's appearance on Amazon France yesterday.
