Eternal Darkness trademark extended

Nintendo of America has once more applied to extend its trademark for Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, the 2002 cult-favourite Silicon Knights Gamecube title. This is the fifth extension, and every time the Big N does this everyone starts speculating wildly that a sequel or re-release is in the works - but then absolutely nothing happens. Silicon Knights was rumoured to be working on some sort of followup before a legal battle with Epic grounded the developer.
