Shackleton Crater hits Kickstarter: turn-based strategy on an accurately crafted moon

Shackleton Crater is the latest game to hit Kickstarter, allowing up to four players to create lunar bases on an accurately-mapped Moon surface. The turn-based strategy game is open for funding now.

Created by Joseph Ybarra, Shackleton Crater needs $700,000 to see the light of day, with 29 days on the clock. The Kickstarter campaign page shows off the game's accurately-mapped terrain in action, thanks to the game's Unity 3D technology.

Here's a taster:

Shackleton Crater is proposed for Android, iOS, Windows 8 Phone, PC & Mac, and is said to chart 100 years of Moon colonisation.
