By Brenna Hillier, Tuesday, 12 March 2013 02:13 GMT

The first 11 contenders for the PES UEFA Champions Festival grand finals have been chosen; it’s not too late to enter for a chance at glory, especially as Konami has opened a “Rest of Europe” league.

The first finalists to make it through a week of competition are:

  • Germany: pesrambo
  • Spain: Pes_Lolito22
  • France: John95200
  • Greece: akiss_333
  • Italy: P-D-ADRIANO-96
  • Netherlands: TheDutchHammer7
  • Nordics: AssCandy-
  • Portugal: i0tech0
  • Russia: RusVenom2013
  • Turkey: Pessi_2013

For a chance to challenge these finalists by becoming one yourself, you’ll need to register your PSN ID at the tournament’s website. The finals will be held in May, and players need to be free to play in the online finals on May 8, and to travel to London on May 24. You also need to be 18 as of May 25 to be eligible to win.

However, you no longer need to live in one of the territories above; Konami has added a “Rest of Europe” league, which has already fired up. Five winners will be chosen, and three will go on to the May 8 event.

Once registered, all you need to do is play your heart out in Ranked and Friendly Matches. Good luck, and do let us know if you earn a finals slot; we’ll cheer for you.
