Armored Core: Verdict Day's 56 maps, faction warfare detailed - new screens inside

Armoured Core: Verdict Day is going to be rather massive, according to Dark Souls team From Software. The game's persistent faction warfare has also been detailed.

Siliconera reports that Verdict Day boasts 56 maps that will see three factions battling it for constant supremacy of the game's persistent world.

Multiplayer supports 20-mech battles and will come in seasons. At the end of each season a winning faction will be championed and stats will be reset, letting players do it all over again in the next season.

The studio has also revealed that if your mech gets crippled in combat, your pilot will eject and fly around with a jetpack, rifle in hand. You can also take photos and save them in your garage. The best snaps will be chosen by the developer and will make it into the season's rolling news coverage for all to see.
