Sony unveils God of War: Ascensions co-op mode
Ascension will feature a mode, called Trial of the Gods, in which you and a friend can team up to take on increasingly difficult waves of bad guys in a timed arena. Click through for a video.
Trial of the Gods will have you take on fifteen different types of baddies, including Satyrs, Cerberuses, Cyclops and even some creatures which have names that don't begin with that "ess" sound. Each round is time-limited, and you gain time by killing enemies. The goal is to make it through five waves without time running out. Or dying. You don't want to die. At the end of it all, you are treated to a big boss fight.
