Tactical Intervention arrives in the US this month

Counter-strike creator Minh Le's next multiplayer experience, Tactical Intervention, will finally launch in just a few weeks.

PCGamesN reports the shooter will go live in North America on March 28 thanks to publisher OGPlanet.

No European release has been announced for the free-to-play shooter, but Le and developer FIX Korea are still looking for a partner.

Tactical Intervention was announced in 2009 but has been in the works even longer than that. After leaving Valve, Le wanted to make a game that delivered on the original Counter-strike's promise of multiple game modes; Tactical Intervention has Hostage and VIP Escort gameplay, for example.

Le also recently confirmed an open beta period; a teaser is available below.
