Hero Mix: images of Activision's doomed project surface

Hero Mix was an "experimental" music game in development at 7 Studios, under Activision. It was canned, but some images of the doomed project have appeared on a developer's online portfolio.
Now, this is not to be confused with Guitar Hero 7, a game widely reported as 'a disaster' once details started to emerge last year. Read up on the whole sorry mess here.
Game designer Kylan Coats has posted up a gallery of Hero Mix images here, and calls it, "An experimental music game." He goes on to say he was asked to contribute to the game's UI design and implementation, creating menu screens and pop-ups.
