Guardians of Middle-earth adds Survival Mode, new map

Lord of the Rings-based MOBA Guardians of Middle-earth adds a new play mode with today's DLC release.

Survival Mode is playable with one to five players and is a co-op experience set in the Glittering Caves. It throws waves of enemies at the player, including bosses, and requires defence of towers. Completion of various milestones will unlock new challenges.

Monolith has also produced a new Goblin-town map skin.

Guardians of Middle-earth is available on the PlayStation Network and via Xbox Live. See the new maps in video form below.
