Two more free discovery apps headed to Vita

Sony has announced two more free discovery apps for US Vita users - Imaginstruments and Friend Network. Descriptions and screenshots of both apps are available through the break.

Friend Network, which is going great guns in Japan and other Asian territories, is a social application for meeting and making friends around the world, and integrates with Facebook and Twitter. Users grow a town based on their social connections, go on RPG-like adventures, and perform tasks for each other.

Imaginstruments is a suite of musical composition tools already available to European users, and allos you to create songs and save them to memory cards. It's supposed to be simple for non-musicians to get to grips with.

Both apps are due during northern spring, following on from the success of Wake Up Club, Frobisher Says, Ecolibirum, t@g and the like.
