Mojang’s Second Mojam kicks off

By Phil Owen, Wednesday, 20 February 2013 17:24 GMT

The folks at Mojang are back in scramble mode right about now, as the devs are once again teaming up with some of their friends to build some games really quickly in the Mojam 2.

This edition of the Mojam started, oh, about ten minutes ago (9am PST/5pm GMT) and will continue on until Saturday at 3pm/11pm. In that space of time, folks from Mojang and their pals at Grapefrukt, Ludosity, Oxeye Game Studio, Vlambeer and Wolfire Games will spend those 78 hours hopefully completely putting together some games. When it’s all over, Humble Bundle will allow you to pay what you want for whatever they manage to produce, with the proceeds, of course, going to charity.

I’m sure it will all turn out to be quite fascinating in the end. We’ll let you know about the results when they are actually results.

But you don’t have to sit back and twiddle your thumbs while these fine people are working in secret. No, you can watch a livestream of some of them putting together a game. I doubt you have anything better to watch on the internet today, so have at it.

Thanks, RPS
