Resident Evil: Revelations won't support WiiMote controls

Resident Evil: Revelations on Wii U will utilise the Game Pad's offscreen capability, but won't offer WiiMote control options, a post on Capcom Unity has confirmed. The announcement has disappointed fans of the series who enjoyed the slick controls of Wii outings like Resident Evil 4. Capcom is implementing Pro Controller support, though. Resident Evil: Revelations is an HD remake of the 3DS title headed to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbiox 360 in addition to Wii U, and should arrive in May.
