Tamagotchi to return as "lifestyle" mobile app

Namco Bandai will relaunched its Tamagotchi virtual pet brand as an Android and iOS app called Tamagotchi L.i.f.e., DigitalSpy reports. The app includes an updated version of the sim with save points, a retro mode for those who want to relive the 90's, mini-games and unlockable bonuses. For reasons unknown, the undated app has already spawned a series of "webisodes" about adolescent fashion, which you can be super baffled by at your leisure.
