Skylanders Swap Force boasts 256 swap combinations

Skylanders Swap Force lets you break your figures in half and recombine them to find the best combination of abilities for a particular situation. Confused? This trailer explains everything, as well as showing off a few new faces.

It also sports quiet a well chosen bit of music licensing, possibly the first time this year we've had a chance to say that.

Skylanders Swap Force was revealed earlier this week, ahead of a northern fall release on 3DS, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U and Xbox 360. The franchise has brought in $500 million in revenue since its debut two years ago.
