Lone Survivor dev’s new project captured on shakycam

Lone Survivor was a stripped-back psychological survival horror experience, but it didn’t push everyone’s buttons. Creator Jasper Byrne’s proposed effort, New Game+, may correct that, because it looks like you push a lot more buttons as you play. See it in action through the break.

The footage was shot at London Indies and posted today, and it’s a relief to see it, since Bryne had cancelled the project before changing his mind a few weeks later.

New Game+ is described as a mix of Final Fight, Dark Souls and The Legend of Zelda, but in a gorgeous isometric retro skin and boasting four-player co-op. The mode shown in the video is three-player versus.
