Valve founder Gabe Newell has given an hour-long lecture about his company's creation, the state of the games industry and insight into its various games and tools. Newell discussed all of this and more at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas yesterday, and it's a very interesting chat that touches on the issue of productivity in the PC market and the shipping of the original Half-Life.
