Mamoru-kun Has Been Cursed coming to the west – report

Mamoru-kun Has Been Cursed, a run-and-gun bullet hell shooter originally released in Japanese arcades, is apparently coming to a console network near you.

Siliconera reports the G.Rev title is being localised and will be released “under a slightly different name”.

Mamoru-kun Has Been Cursed was ported to Xbox 360 and then PlayStation 3 after its arcade release; the PS3 version reportedly sports two additional characters and a widescreen mode.

G.Rev boss Hiroykui Maruyama made headlines earlier this week by claiming that Japanese developers lose money when releasing games on Xbox Live thanks to currency conversion policies.
