Tank Battle: North Africa roams onto iOS devices

Hunted Cow has today released Tank Battle: North Africa, its sequel to the well-received Tank Battle: 1944.

Not had enough Tank Battles yet? Well, this unsurprising sequel pits players into the role of British and American troops at the height of World War II. A series of raids, attacks and battles must be overcome for victory.

The title promises a greater layer of tactical depth that aims to be accessible for all players. Flexibility is perhaps the key word, as an increased number of routes and ways to fight appear. A total of 35 unit types are on offer, with both British and American campaigns receiving eight missions each.

Players can also compete against friends by passing their iPod, iPad or iPhone device between them.

Tank Battle: North Africa can be snapped up right now for £1.49/$1.99/€1.59.
