Club Nintendo Wii rewards inaccessible from Wii U

Games purchased and surveys completed while using the Wii U in Wii Mode do not contribute to Club Nintendo reward earnings, as spotted by NintendoLife and confirmed in a Nintendo FAQ. Nintendo cites a "system constraint" for the limitation, which seems a good reason to keep your original Wii sitting around for a little while longer.
