Mojang has announced more sales figures for the Minecraft franchise, by stating that Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition hit the 5 million sold mark on December 31. The news was announced via Twitter by the firm's Daniel Kaplan. Yesterday, Markus Persson stated the series sold 453,000 copies across all platforms on December 25, 2012, bringing the grand total to 18 million across all platforms.
