Pokémon tease suggests news drop next week

A new TV advertisement for Pokémon Black & White 2 promises a reveal next week.
According to Gematsu's translation of Japanese reports, the commercial says the "latest information" regarding the franchise will be shared on January 8.
These teases have disappointed in the past, revealing tie-in media, but in combination with a game ad this one might just mean we're in for something a little heftier. Stay tuned.
Pokémon Black & White 2 launched on DS in October; it seems unlikely a new game will be announced this early, despite hopes for a 3DS release. A tournament or some sort of DLC is possible.
