Earth Defence Force 2025 trailer shows an overwhelming insect force

Earth Defence Force 2025 has players battling out against giant insects from space. Just like Earth Defence Force 2017, and Earth Defence Force: Insect Armageddon. Why mess with a winning formula?

Earth Defence Force 2025 is the English title for the game known in Japan as Chikyū Bōeigun 4, or EDF 4. It’s due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, and boasts four-player online modes, plus a larger level, weapon and vehicle count than any previous entry.

It should not be confused with Earth Defence Force 2017 Portable. That one arrives on Vita in Europe on January 16.
