Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus release dates announced for the west

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus has been given a release date for the west. The Vita title will release on February 26 in US and on March 1 in UK. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus will contain a lower-level mode for new players called Hero Mode which sports modified controls allowing players to use the Vita touchscreen to toss opponents. Another new mode called Ninja Race allows the player to grab items which increase Ryu’s speed, and to chain enemy kills and increase attack power. There's also the Tag Mission Mode which gives players more time with Ayane, Momiji and Rachel. The game is a remake of the PS3 version which was a remake of the Xbox 360 version.
