Pokémon: official Pokédex app launches on iOS devices

The Pokémon Company has launched an official Pokédex app on iPad, iPhone and other devices today across Europe and America. All 640 existing Pokémon are compiled into the app, but there's a catch. Get the details below.

The app has launched today at £1.49 / $1.99 and compiles a wealth of Pokémon data from across the franchise's history. Creature entries also show where you can find them in Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2 for Nintendo 3DS.

After buying the app you will get full access to the Unova Pokédex, which covers Pokémon 494 to 647. You can however, buy the rest of the entries via in-app purchases at £3.99 each.

You can download Pokedex for iOS here.
