Bigpoint user base tops 300 million

German MMO publisher Bigpoint has hit a major milestone - 300 million registered user worldwide.
To celebrate, the publisher is holding various sweepstakes; visit Bigpoint.com for a chance to win in-game currency and more tangible rewards such as smartphones.
Bigpoint specialises in free-to-play, browser-based games and is responsible for Battlestar Galactica Online, Drakensang Online, Farmerama, Pirate Storm and Dark Orbit, among others; it boasts more than 65 games in 25 launguages. It has agreements with anumber of major publishers and most recently launched Gameglobe with Square Enix.
Bigpoint made significant job cuts earlier this year.
