One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 headed to PS3, Vita

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 has done well enough for Tecmo Koei and Namco Bandai that a sequel is on the way.

The Omega Force-developed sequel was announced in Shounen Jump, the magazine in which One Piece is serialised. Siliconera reports it will be set in the New World story arc.

Details are slim this early on, with no release date touted, but platform information was revealed - it's headed to PlayStation 3 and Vita.

Obviously western release isn't even on the table just yet but the first one did make it over about six months after release.

In other Shounen Jump news, Siliconera also notes the announcement of Project J Versus, a crossover game featuring characters starring in the magazine's regular manga.

One Piece’s Monkey D. Luffy, Dragon Ball Z’s Goku and Toriko’s Toriko were shown. Don't expect this one to turn up locally.
