The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth seeks your approval for pixel makeover

Edmund McMillen has asked current and potential fans of The Binding of Isaac to help decide how the console remake will look, as well as what additional features it may boast.

The Team Meat co-founder posted four example art styles to his blog, asking readers to complete a short survey indicating which one they liked the most.

McMillen noted that these images are only mock ups, and have been "made to test and see how the fans feel about Isaac being remade in a retro pixelated style". The designer also released a fifth example.

The survey also asks potential players which platforms they'd most like to see The Binding of Isaac on and what dream feature they'd like to see included; it also asks how many hours the respondant spent with the original PC game, testing your dedication to the dark rogue-like.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is headed to as yet unannounced platforms thanks to a deal with Nicalis; it's a total remake of the original game, allowing for additional content the Flash-based version canot support.
