LEGO Lord of the Rings "demo" discs being recalled

Warner Bros. has issued a recall on LEGO: Lord of the Rings Xbox 360 discs mistakenly labelled as demos.

Earlier today reports circulated that some copies of the game included a demo disc rather than the full game.

The publisher says the affected discs do actually "contain the full game content and are fully functional", but it's issuing a recall anyway, over the incorrect labels.

Some copies sold at Walmart, Target and Toys ‘R’ Us in the US were affected by the error. Only the Xbox 360 version proved problematic, with Warner Bros. noting that Microsoft shipped the dodgy discs to retailers.

Warner Bros. is manufacturing replacements Those who purchased a copy of the Xbox 360 version of the game with the disc labeling error can contact Warner Bros customer support via email at support@wbgames.com or phone at 410-568-3680 to organise a replacement.
