The Need for Speed movie may co-star Captain America’s Dominic Cooper, according to a piece on Variety which states the actor is in negotiations for the film.

According to the report, Cooper is slated to play an ex-NASCAR driver who rebuilds and modifies “supercars” for a living.

28 Weeks Later actress Imogen Poots is also in talks to play an exotic car dealer.

It was announced back in October that Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul would play the lead, male role in the film.

The DreamWorks title is scheduled to hit theaters on February 7, 2014.
