Origin on Wii U unlikely for now, says Moore

Wii U is to incorporate a degree of connectivity with EA's Origin service, although details are still scant. It seems that it will - at least - require all EA games being played on Wii U to be authenticated by Origin. EA's Peter Moore has discussed the matter in a new interview.

Speaking with CVG Moore cast doubt on the full Origin service coming to Wii U in the near future and simply stated, "We haven't made any announcements on that".

Moore stated that he sees Origin as a purely mobile and PC-focused service, creating further distance between it and Nintendo's console, "Origin continues to be a PC-centric service, one that's moving quickly to mobile, but as things evolve in the coming years we'll look at where the demand is. But at the moment Origin is very much PC centric and mobile centric."
