Ghost Recon Online patch adds Halloween themed items, clan compatibility starts rolling out

Ghost Recon Online will receive patch 0.9.0 today, which includes new features and Halloween themed content.

One of the new features is the Beginner’s Playlist, which allows those unfamiliar with the game a course in the basics and and the ability to build up their skills before going up against more experienced players.

Players who have all three characters between levels one to four can utilize the Beginner’s Playlist and play against similar players. The beginner’s Playlist is a separate matchmaking queue, but players still have the option of playing against more experienced players should they choose the All Players Playlist instead.

A Halloween Content Pack featuring new Halloween skins as well as different weapon stats has also been added. These six Halloween weapons will only be available for a limited period.

Finally, starting with the 0.9.0 patch, various elements of Clans will be introduced in phases. Active players will first be able to start the formation and management of their own Clans.

Players will also be able to enhance Clan identity through Clan Tags and customizable Clan crests. The next phase of Clans will happen on January 16, with the introduction of competitive elements, allowing players to challenge other Clans in either ranked or unranked Clan matches.
