Guild Wars 2 paid PvP content to release tomorrow after bug fix

Guild Wars 2's Shadow of the Mad King update this week introduces paid PvP tournaments, but the later didn't launch with the Halloween content due to a bug issue. That's set to change come tomorrow, according to ArenaNet's community manager.

Patch notes on the GW2 forums, via PCGamesN, state that a bug causing PvP crashes has been fixed. It was the "final known bug preventing the activation of paid tournaments."

"We will again take a night to make sure these are stable to ensure that the player experience when spending gems on tournaments is as good as it can be," said Regina Buenaobra. "Barring unforeseen issues, we will enable paid tournaments tomorrow morning when we are in the office to support their launch."

Yesterday, ArenaNet outlined proposed updates to structured PvP along with changes to the tournament finder and scoreboard.
