Warframe gameplay footage introduces two characters
Meet two of the titular Warframes from Digital Extremes' free-to-play co-operative action effort.
In this sci-fi affair, an enslaved race on the brink of extinction stumbles across a collection of ancient technology, Warframes, which grant small groups of soldiers the chance to fight back.
Two of these are detailed in the video below. Loki is a stealthy type, with decoy, teleport and invisibility powers, while Mag can manipulate physical forces to pull foes across the field, concentrate fire on them, or just squash them into balls.
Warframe is in closed beta and will launch sometime this year. The test will have eight Warframes, but more are expected. It features randomly generated PvE co-op action, customisation, three factions, and lots of swords. See the first developer diary here and check out some alpha footage before you sign up for beta.
