Painkiller: Hell & Damnation release date secured

Painkiller: Hell & Damnation is on its way to a retailer near you quite soon - unless you're Greman, that is.

Nordic Games has announced an October 31 release date for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 shooter effort, but confirmed that the game will not be released in Germany due to problems with securing an age rating.

This is not entirely surprising as Hell & Damnation is a remake of the classic Painkiller, and chock a block full of The Farm 51's trademark red sauce. Just look at it glistening in there. See those little bits of minced up flesh? They're called "gobbets". It's a technical term, which you will never forget. You're welcome.

Painkiller: Hell & Damnation is in closed beta. On launch, it will be available in a limited Collector's Edition including a multiplayer skin and single player power-up tarot card, plus a bunch of real-world goodies like an art book, making-of DVD, stickers, a poster and postcards.
