Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes day/night cycle will change game world

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will feature a day/night cycle to extend replay value, Hideo Kojima has revealed.

While showing the game off to Eurogamer, Kojima confirmed the inclusion of a day/night cycle, stating that it changes up guard patrol patterns and changes the world in other ways.

Eurogamer also reports that the gameplay Kojima showed the site sees Big Boss infiltrating the base first seen in the Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes demo.

The demo ends Snake is seen negotiating with the scarred man for the release of Peace Walker's Chico, who is the boy in the cage.
