LG's line of 3D Smart TVs getting new games portal

LG's line-up of Cinema 3D Smart TVs will be getting a new games portal called Game World soon.

The portal will allow users to access a library of paid and free games, and most of them will be playable in both 2D and 3D. The games will be playable by either using third party controllers or LG's Magic Remote.

Although the announcement by LG doesn't mention any specific game names, but a promo image includes pictures of games like Cut the Rope, Shadowgun and Plants vs. Zombies.

Game World is due to launch sometime this September.

Thanks, Joystiq.
