Max Payne 3 patch preps for this week's DLC drop

Max Payne has been patched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The automatically applied title update addresses a number of bugs and issues, but also adds a Multiplayer Player Card system and automated cheat protection and lag protection measures. It also sets up Payne Thresholds, a new XP-boosting system which will go live when Disorganised Crime, the shooter's latest DLC pack, arrives on August 28. Full patch notes are available here.
