The World Ends With You launching on iOS, new soundtrack confirmed

By Dave Cook, Friday, 24 August 2012 09:32 GMT

The World Ends With You is heading to iOS later this year, together with a revamped soundtrack Square-Enix has confirmed.

Square-Enix posted a countdown site for a mystery project earlier this week, although all signs pointed to The World Ends With You. The countdown remains, but the announcement has slipped ahead of time.

Andriasang reported that Square-Enix added a new The World Ends With You soundtrack collection to its online eShop. The listing also made mention of an iOS release ahead of the countdown site ending.

Square-Enix has since removed all mention of the iOS version, but the text did reveal that the game would feature new songs.

The soundtrack collection will launch October 1 and will cost ¥1,890.
