DUST 514 closed beta launches today, will share test server with EVE Online

The DUST 514 closed beta launches today, and the tester will be sharing its test server with EVE Online.

CCP will be inviting PS Plus members a chance to test the FPS and those who already hold a beta key in their hands, they can log in as soon as Precursor goes live.

Alongside Precursor, the first framework for Orbital Strikes goes live allowing for space-based attacks which will help link DUST 514 and EVE Online. Soon, Orbital Artillery outposts on the ground will be added to allow ground troops the ability to attack EVE Online ships in space.

Other additions include: Instant Battle Matchmaking; New Environments; Keyboard and Mouse Implementation; and the usual polishing, enhancements, and bug fixes.

PS Plus members can get in on the beta tomorrow.

Hit up the blog post on the matter here for extra details.

The closed beta ends September 5.
