The Last Story release pushed to August 17 in US, 1-3 weeks for Amazon

The Last Story was scheduled to release in the US yesterday, but some stores are telling customers they may have to wait a few days. According to GameStop, the Wii RPG from Mistwalker wont' release until Friday, August 17. The reason provided was due to "production issues, or trouble getting off the press." Amazon, on the other hand, has contacted customers with the news it could be another one to three weeks before the game lands in their mailboxes. Tough break. Polygon has more.
