Sony trademarks "Rain", leaked footage appears - Report

Sony has registered a new trademark for something called "Rain". While first assumptions may point to something Heavy Rain-related, what is rumoured to be leaked footage of the project suggests otherwise.

SCEA has filed the trademark under 'software', and with Sony's pre-Gamescom conference just a week away, signs are pointing to a reveal of some kind. There is no confirmation if this is a PS3 or PS Vita title either.

What is rumoured to be leaked footage of Rain shows a young woman tussling with armed guards through a series of QTE attacks in the rain, obviously. There is also mechs, free-running and what appears to be hacking.
