Far Cry 3 E3 co-op demo introduces characters, story
Ubisoft has released a walkthrough of the E3 co-op demo for Far Cry 3, featuring developer commentary. The firm has also released information pertaining to the character biographies and story behind the co-op mode.
Apparently, a demented ship captain has sold his black market cruise liner, the SS Astrid, and all on board to a warlord names Hoyt. Only four members of the crew decide to fight back, and as they battle pirates, they decide to try and recover the safe which hold's the captains profits and crew's earnings.
The captain escapes with the safe, and takes refuge on Hoyt's islands, where the crew members decide to take revenge out on those who wronged them and take back what is lost.
Crew members are Callum, who can turn a but psychotic at times; an ethically challenged ex-cop named Leonard; Tisha, an ex-combat medic in the Army who knows her way around a gun; and the ex-gang leader Mikhail who joined the crew to save money to start a new life with his family outside of Russia.
