Atlus has said it’s looking to lag issues being reported by Persona 4 Arena players in Japan. According to a blog post on the game’s website, Altus said Xbox 360 users could be experiencing lag due to greater-than-expected numbers of people on the servers. Staff are looking into fixing the issues, and in the meantime have suggested a workaround. PS3 users don’t seem to be having any issues at present. The game is out in the US on August 7 and in Europe on August 31. Thanks, Andriasang.

It’s Golden Week in Japan and Sony is celebrating the festivities by putting quite a few Japanese-inspired games and movies on sale in North America until May 4. Titles such as Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, Catherine, Dark Souls, Hatsune Miku, Mega Man 9 and more are discounted.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be released at retail in Europe this November as well as digitally for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
