Eurogamer Expo 2012 sells 20,000 tickets

The organisers behind this year's Eurogamer Expo said this morning that more than 20,000 tickets have now been sold for the event.

More than 20,000 tickets have been sold for this year's Eurogamer Expo, organisers said today, with more than two months still to go until the show opens.

Ticket sales well ahead of forecasts based on last year's sell-out event.

The Eurogamer Expo returns to London's Earls Court from September 27-30, and is expected to see more than 50,000 gamers through its doors.

There will be over 1,000 screens with be on hand at this year's show, with Assassin's Creed III, Resident Evil 6, Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 all playable.
