Siliconera cites anonymous sources for word that Mega Drive classics Toejam & Earl and its sequel Panic on Funkotron are next on Sega’s re-release schedule. The site believes the two lightweight rogue-likes are on the way to PlayStation 3 as part of the Sega Vintage Collection, which has already spawned Gunstar heroes and the upcoming Jet Set radio. Sega doesn’t comment on rumour and speculation, unfortunately. Both games are already available via the Wii’s Virtual Console service.
Those lucky folks attending gamescom next week will be able to get a first hands on experience with Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis: Collected Works is an 25th anniversary look-back at the history of Sega’s 16-bit machine. it’s now been funded on Kickstarter, and research for the tome has unearthed some previously-unseen concept art from such games as Toejam & Earl and Comix Zone.
