Worms Revolution developer diary introduces class system

By Brenna Hillier, Monday, 16 July 2012 04:04 GMT

Team 17’s tried and true formula is getting its most serious shake up since its 1995 debut with the addition of four classes in Worms Revolution.

Of the four classes, the soldier is the vanilla – it moves and behaves like every worm to come before it. Things get more interesting with the nimble scout, the weak but powerful scientist, and the juggernaut heavy.

Team 17 have gone all out with cosmetic changes, too – you’ll be able to equip your worm with different hats and voices, and even let them carry toys into battle.

When you’ve finished spluttering through your adjustment disorder, check out the developer diary showing off the new features below. Worms Revolution arrives on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in northern autumn. Previous dev diaries here and here.
