Quick shots - New Little King's Story visits a giant cake

I don't know what's going on in these New Little King's Story screens; I only know that I want it in my life immediately.

New Little King's Story is the Vita followup to a Wii game which deserved a lot more attention than it got. It grants the player a magic crown which allows them to control other people, which should be creepy as all get out but turns out to be completely adorable. As the titular little king, you gather followers, battle monsters, and most importantly, grow and foster a happy kingdom of magic and wonder - and giant cake, I guess?

The new version has all sorts of nifty additions like a day-night cycle, DLC, and online collaboration. Konami's bringing it to both Europe and the US sometime over the next few months. Not soon enough.

Thanks, Destructoid.
