Crafting and other commodity trading coming to Diablo III's real-money auction house

Blizzard has said it will allow more commodity trading in Diablo III via the real-money auction house "soon."

According to a post on the official forums from the community manager, the following items will be available for trading in an update:

  • Gems
  • Dyes
  • Crafting Materials
  • Blacksmithing Plans and Jeweler Designs
  • Pages of Training

Good to know, but don't expect the ability to trade cash for in-game gold anytime soon, although Blizzard is working on the possibility.

"The ability to trade gold as a commodity won’t be included in this initial update, but we hope to enable it in the near future," reads the post.

Thanks, PC Games.
