Transformers dev to announce new Marvel game at SDCC

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron developer High Moon Studios seems to have a new Marvel license title in the works.

As flagged by Gamespot, the Marvel video games panel at San Diego Comic Con promises "an announcement from Activision and High Moon Studios that is sure to be a hit".

The most recent Marvel-licensed game is Beenox's The Amazing Spider-Man, but it's hard not to speculate that High Moon may be behind the first core Avengers release; Marvel executives have hinted that there are plenty of plans following on from the blockbuster film.

High Moon's best-known efforts are three Transformers games; Fall of Cybertron goes multi-platform in late August.

San Diego Comic Con runs July 12-15; the Marvel panel is to be held on July 14.
